At only nineteen years old, Farah Bijou is creating quite a name for herself in the music industry. When not with her band, Soul Candy, the Florida-based singer, and producer can be found writing her music and pursuing a commercial music degree at Florida State University.
Farah released “Show Me Your Truth” with her boyfriend and fellow musician and producer, Roy P, in October of 2020. On Facebook, she said the song is about the leap of faith you take when you’re first falling for someone.
The music video for the song was released on April 30 and was directed by Will “FMD” Andrews and produced by Val Betts. On her social media, Farah thanked the whole video team including, Gabby Carbone and Gio Papini, for the hard work they put into this project.
Show Me Your Truth is Farah and Roy P’s most recent collaboration, but Roy is also featured on Farah’s singles, “Purple Lights” and “Taking My Time.”
On her social media, Farah has said that she has an EP planned for 2021 and that she hopes to continue her passion of making and sharing music with others.
